TA/Consulting Events Updated to Accommodate New State Policy

New York requested various updates to their TA/Consulting events to accommodate a change in state policy, and to make the TA Event module more simple and clear.

The following changes were completed:

  • Reducing the number of Event Types down to just three.
  • Displaying TA event attendance to individuals on their Training Tab.
  • Displaying TA event attendance to individuals on their Learning Record.
  • Including TA event attendance in calculations of Training Hours on the OCFS Staff Report.
Administrative Access for Multiple Trainers on an Event

For clients creating events using the new event entry module, the "administrative access" checkbox can now be checked for more than one trainer providing administrative access to more than one trainer.

Non-Essential Event Data Editing

For clients using the new event entry module, this enhancement will enable trainers and training organizations to edit a portion of their event data after the event has been approved.

Editing non-essential event data will facilitate an easier way to respond to event changes that do not impact the overall approval of the event.

Public Training Calendar Updated to Include Event ID Filter

Minnesota has requested the addition of a “Event ID” filter to the training calendar search feature. This filter will allow users to search for applicable training events more accurately by event ID.

Require Wage on Employment Entry

Pennsylvania requested an enhancement to require wage entry to satisfy a federal requirement.

This enhancement will allow the system to strongly suggest that individuals enter their hourly wage or annual income.
